The Interstate 95 in New York, abbreviated "i-95 New York",
is one of the main interstate highway and traffic routes that travels across
metro New York City area in generally a north/northeast - south/southwest
direction.The map shown to the left shows the i-95 in metro New York City (highlighted
in pink - click pict. for larger image) and the direction/route of i-95
traffic flow through the greater metro New York City area.
Some sections of the i-95 in New York are also known as the "Bruckner
Expressway", the "Cross Bronx Expressway", and the "New England Thruway".
